Predecessors to Pioneers Bazaar

Come support the Magnolia Class as they share their work!

Tomorrow is our final presentation!

On February 1st, the Magnolia Class launched a 5-week project that merged academic and artistic subjects around a central theme: the Kingdom of Jordan, which is the country the sixth graders were assigned to study by the MMUN. It was co-taught by all the arts teachers (Ms. Harris, Ms. Bobbie, Ms. Terah) and Ms. Viji.

The Goal: to be inspired by the ancient art forms from Jordan (the Predecessors) to create new, Pioneering works of art. Hence the title, "Predecessors to Pioneers."

The PCM community is invited to join us for a short presentation tomorrow after school as the children share their original works of art and a dance they choreographed themselves with original music, all inspired by the ancient art forms of Jordan.
