Scholarships, Scholarships, and More Scholarships!

Pride Center Youth Scholarship: For LGBTQA high school students entering their freshman year of college or an accredited program in the fall of 2015. All applicants must complete an application and provide the additional materials that are outlined in the scholarship packet. Applications are available online at: or in the Counseling Office. Deadline: May 4, 2015

AAA Northway Scholarship Application: Eligible applicant must plan on majoring in a travel-related or automotive services program at one of the following schools: SUNY Plattsburgh, SUNY Adirondack, HFM BOCES, or SCCC. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: April 15, 2015

Adirondack Runners Scholarship: Eligible applicants must be planning to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university as a full-time student. Along with the application, students must must describe the "significance of running" in his or her life. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: April 24, 2015

National Association of Women in Construction, Albany Chapter 261 Scholarship: This scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors who plan to enter an accredited college for a construction-related degree program. This scholarship, which is valued at $1,000 will be based on need, merit, and academics. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: April 10, 2015

Big Sun Athletics Scholarship: All high school seniors, regardless of the sport they play are eligible for this award. Please visit: for information on how to apply. Deadline: June 19, 2015

Chief Executives Network for Manufacturing of the Capital Region (CEN): Eligible applicants are high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university or trade school and plan to study a major that leads to a position with a manufacturer. Summer Programs, Workshops, and More ...

Computer Arts & Design Program at Mercy College: This FREE workshop will introduce students to the basic principles of observational drawing. Limited seat available so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. To register call: (914) 674-3015 or email:

Camp Neuro: Camp Neuro is a one week summer day camp open to high school students interested in exploring jobs in the medical field. There are limited spots which are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee to apply. Scholarship application deadline is May 4th and the Early Application Deadline & Tuition ($55) is April 13th. Regular Admission Deadline is: May 4th ($650).

Drive for Excellence: High school juniors and seniors can submit their grades from the 2014-2015 school and be entered to win a FREE Hyundai Elantra or Subaru Imprezza. Students must have a valid, current Driver's License or Learners' Permit. To participate in this contest, students must register online by Friday, April 24th. Students can enter the contest for every "A" or "B" earned on a report card, as each marking period counts separately. For example, if you earned an 85 in a class for each of our 5 marking periods, then you are able to make 5 different entries. The final requirement for contest entry is to have an official report card submitted to the dealership by Friday, May 1st (this is not post marked by May 1st). If you are selected as a finalist, you MUST be present at the Grand Prize Giveaway on May 16th. At this time, a FREE car and several college scholarships will be awarded. This FREE ONLINE workshop will be hosted by Cappex to help students and parents/guardians understand their college award letters. This is a great time to have your questions answered before the May 1st deadline! This workshop will be held on April 1, 2015 at 5:00 pm Central Time.
