Monday, October 17

  • State Dyslexia Conference (Clutter)
  • Hunt Elementary Book Club meets during lunch period in library
  • ARDs at Hunt at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • James Rabe, CIS Campus PSP, available to meet with Hunt teachers during teacher conferences periods in little conference room at HUNT (optional)
  • Education Foundation Meeting at 5:30 p.m. in Boardroom (Campus Reps need not attend this meeting)
  • Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Boardroom


Tuesday, October 18

  • State Dyslexia Conference (Clutter)
  • ARDs at CIS at 12:35 p.m. and 2:05 p.m.
  • Hunt PBIS Rally at 2:30 p.m. in Hunt Gym
  • After-school tutorials begin 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Hunt and CIS


Wednesday, October 19

  • Grade Level Planning/WTW Rotations 8:05-10:20 3rd Grade; 10:20-12:35 2nd Grade; 1:05-3:20 1st Grade (Ms. Robinson to help with PE all day)
  • 2nd Grade to visit Pumpkin Patch
  • Wear Orange in support of National Unity Day (optional)
  • Art to Remember due at Hunt
  • After-school tutorials at CIS 3:30-4:30 p.m.


Thursday, October 20

  • Grade Level Planning/TH Rotations 9:30-11:00 4th Grade; 2:05-3:30 5th Grade
  • Workshop at Region III (Christmas)
  • 5th Graders to attend Jr. High Pep Rally

Education Foundation News...

The Cuero ISD Education Foundation and Pioneer Natural Resources are proud to present the 2016 Concert for Classrooms featuring the Urban Cowboy 35th Anniversary Reunion Tour starring Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cuero ISD Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available for purchase via credit card at www.cueroedfoundation.org and via cash, check, and credit card at Q-Rare-O Market, located at 651 US Hwy 87 South, Tuesdays through Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $100 each. Proceeds benefit Cuero ISD in the form of grants to educators for resources, projects, and programs outside the scope of traditional school funding.

Fall Into Math/Open House

On Tuesday, November 15, both Hunt and CIS will host a Fall Into Math event at their respective campuses. Each grade level will have three games/activities for our Gobbler Families to enjoy from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Hunt Elementary will also host an Open House in conjunction with this event to allow community members to view the new facility.
