IS IT LONGER THEN ME HA?
Huge thigh bone
Scientists believe it is a new species of tyrannosaur it was found when a local farm worker stumbled on the remains in the desert near La Flecha, 250km (135 miles) west of trelew , Patagonia
Capture This And Be Amazed
The bones came from a large animal as you can tell, these man were from a film crew "BBC Natural History" its length, from its head to the tip of its tail, was 40m. this giant herbivore lived in the forests of Patagonia between 95 and 100 million years ago, based on the age of the rocks in which its bones were found.
Unknown
This creature does not yet have a name but the world noticed that it was the biggest dinosaur on earth researchers did many study's on the bones that were found and the most recent pretender that they could come up was THE Argentinosaurus, a similar type of sauropod, also discovered in Patagonia.
HOW DO YOU KNOW?
Without knowing more about this current find it's difficult to be sure. One problem with assessing the weight of both Argentinosaurus and this new discovery is that they're both based on very fragmentary specimens - no complete skeleton is known, which means the animal's proportions and overall shape are conjectural. without knowing more about the dinosaur one problem was the weight of the Argentinosaurus and this new discovery are both alike by the fragmentary specimens.
The Discovery
The fossils were very big and not hidden if you like dinosaurs the video may have had you clued into it, the BBC men walked for a while to find the bones then they measured the size to see which was the biggest.
