Scholastic Book Fair
As the school year comes closer to an end and the weather warms up, students have a tendency to leave heavier clothing laying around outside, etc...
Jamison will donate all Lost-N-Found items to a local organization by year's end. The Lost-N-Found is located in the Cafeteria. Your child can ask their homeroom teacher to visit the Lost-N-Found during the school day. Parents that would like to check the Lost-N-Found should sign in the main office and obtain a visitor's badge during the time frame of 8:15AM and 10:45AM.
Attention 5th grade students / parents
In an effort to plan ahead, future 6th grade students will be attending the "Ropes Course" on September 10th and 11th. These days are full of challenges and team building activities. Typically, the cost of the trip is approximately between 70 and 80 dollars.
Information will be sent home before the school year is over.
Field Day / Spirit Wear
Your child will be finding out (or should have already found out) the color of their "Field Day" team. If interested, school spirit wear will be available to purchase in May. Please go online, utilize the school order form, and the Spirit Wear committee will try to fill your order as quickly as possible (if you get the order completed by May 6th). There will also be a morning sale on May 20th. This is on a first come, first serve basis. The committee will not be ordering anymore Jet Wear after the 20th.
Field Day is May 29th!
Science Fun Day
A HUGE thank you to all the parent volunteers for Science Fun Day. Whether you are a classroom Captain or assistant, THANK YOU for making this a special day for the kids. Science Fun Day will be held on May 12th.
I'd like to personally thank Mrs. Heimenz who has spent countless hours in assisting the organization of this day...
Please take the time to talk with your children about "cyber" safety. Discuss their text messages and viewing history. While technology can be educational and resourceful, it can also be damaging if not properly supervised. Historically, during the spring months, children have a tendency to feel more freedom. It's extremely important to keep open lines of communication with your children and their communications...
