Volunteer for STEAM Up Summer Camp
Delran Cubs Camp is looking for DHS student counselors!
Work with Delran science, math and art teachers as well as class sizes of 20 students

Responsibilities:
Help teacher with setting up and cleaning up materials for experiments
Help supervise campers in the class you’re assigned to
Guide students as they engage in the engineering activities
- Help teacher with other general tasks during the camp week
Enjoy coding and robotics new this year with campers in 2nd-6th Grade
Boston Museum of Science Engineering is Elementary Curriculum
Using the “Five E" learning cycle:
Engagement: Create interest and capture the imagination.
Exploration: Explore activities where they encounter problems or ask questions.
Explanation: Describe what is happening and learn from others.
Elaboration: Apply knowledge through the engineering design challenge.
Evaluation: Reflect on what they have learned.
Volunteer for either am, pm or all day shift, Monday through Thursday from 8:45am to 3:30pm
Week 2: 7/17/17- 7/22/17
Week 3: 7/26/17- 7/29/17
Week 4: 8/1/17-8/4/17
Guaranteed to be a fun, learning experience for all ages!
Volunteers and Engineering Campers will work in our state of the art DHS Science Wing
Camp features:
Daily lab experiences designing, building, and testing solutions to real-world problems
Instruction provided by Certified Teachers
Arts integration provided by a Certified Art Teacher
High school student volunteers, who plan to major in education or STEM fields, will assist in each group
Use of the state of the art Science Lab facilities at Delran High School
Technology access including Google Chromebook computers and document cameras
