In celebration of Doyle's 50th anniversary, we are planning to enhance our grounds again with commemorative bricks. This will be a permanent remembrance that you and your children can look at for years to come. Everyone is invited to purchase a personalized 4"x8" brick.
Cost is $28.00 for either:
- 3 lines at 19 characters/spaces with soaring eagle logo or
- 3 lines at 23 characters/spaces without logo
If you are interested to order one or more commemorative bricks for your family, child/ren or a special family member, please complete the order form and either send in payment (checks payable to Doyle Activity Fund) or visit www.mypaymentplus.
Family Pacer Night
Thank you to Mrs. Williams for organizing this heart awareness and fitness event.
Book It Forward
In celebration of “Read Across America Day”, Doyle will be hosting a book drive for the Laura H. Carnell Elementary School in Philadelphia. We would like each child to “Book It Forward” by donating 1 new or gently used book (hard cover or paperback) for children ages 5-12. Please have your child bring a favorite book to donate to our “Buddy School” from February 27th – March 6th. If you have questions, please email Mrs. Popma at mpopma@cbsd.org. Thank you for your support for this worthwhile project!
Operation Helping Hands
It is a sad fact that 16% of children in Bucks County are considered food insecure, negatively impacting their development and learning. Operation Helping Hand is a way to combat that and a powerful learning opportunity for students.
All non-perishable foods are accepted, but our local pantry really needs:
- Fruit Juice (100%)
- Breakfast Cereal
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Chicken
- Soups
- Applesauce (no sugar added)
- Canned Fruit (no sugar added)
- Canned Vegetables (low sodium)
- Canned Tuna
- Beans (dried or canned)
- Canned Salmon
- Canned pasta
- Oatmeal
- Rice
- Pasta
Donations will be collected at the school March 1 - March 8.
Monetary contributions are also welcome. Just $10.00 can feed a family of four. Checks should be made payable to United Way of BC (Memo: Operation Helping Hand/Doyle)
Eyeglass Drive
Doylestown Lions Club
“Eyeglass Drive”
February 27th - April 7th
You Can Make a Difference!
Drop off any eyeglasses that you no longer need at the Drop Boxes located in the school office.
Throughout the year, Lions, Leos and other volunteers collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers (LERCs). LERC volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Recycled glasses are distributed to people in need in low and middle income communities where they will have the greatest impact.
