SEPTEMBER 7, 2022 - NEWSLETTER
Dear Lighthouse families,
We have had so much fun these first few days of school! We enjoyed welcoming students back into the building, hearing about their summer adventures and talking about what they are looking forward to this year. I am so grateful for all the hard work and planning the Lighthouse staff has put in preparing for the start of school. It’s going to be an exciting year of learning!
Here are a few updates and reminders for this week:
- Back to School Kick off: This Saturday, September 10, the Panther Foundation and Community Education Department are hosting a “Start Your Engines” event in the Spring Lake Park High School parking lot. All are welcome! It will be a great way to kick off the year and build community together. See more info in the newsletter, and I hope your family can come by to see some big trucks, food trucks and automobiles.
- Arrival: Students can be dropped off each day after 7:45 a.m. with school beginning at 8:10 a.m.
- Dismissal: At the end of the day, students that ride the bus will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m. and parent pick up will begin at 3 p.m. Students being picked up will come outside to meet their parents.
- Change in Transportation: If there is a change in transportation, please make sure to call the Lighthouse office and let us know.
- Back-a-Bus Fundraiser: Our wonderful PTO is organizing a fundraiser for Lighthouse. It will be taking place the last two weeks of September with a celebration on September 29. Please be on the lookout for more information coming soon.
The school year is off to a great start! We have many fun and exciting activities planned for the year. I look forward to our continued partnership in your child’s education. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me. I am happy to help.
With Gratitude,
Lisa Cisewski
