Cougar Chronicles
November 18, 2022
Dear LSE Family,
This week I want to share how incredibly grateful I am for each of you! Each student, each family member that supports our students and our staff here at LSE, each PTA member that helps us accomplish so much here, each faculty member at LSE that pours their hearts into the students every single day, and our community of Lee's Summit.
My own cup is filled daily with the smiles of our students, with the excitement when the reach a new goal or milestone, when they realize they CAN do something they thought might have been impossible the day before!
During this season I encourage you to slow down if only for a few minutes and show gratitude to those around you. Maybe it is a loved one, possibly a neighbor, a child, or even a teacher....think of acts of kindness and giving ....many that cost no money at all. Gratitude to me is a feeling and a thought that can most often be expressed in words, both spoken and written and simple acts toward others!
I am so thankful for each of you. May all of you feel how grateful we are at LSE to partner with you daily!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tracy Sanders, Principal
Welcome our new Staff Member - Bailey Martinson - Resource Aide
I have two kids, one who attends at LSE and one who will start kindergarten next year. I love music, watching Chiefs games and spending time with my friends and family.
My favorite color is yellow, I love creating art in the many forms it comes in. Whether it’s drawing, writing, painting, or singing, I love it all. I cannot wait for all the fun adventures to come and am so thankful to be welcomed with open arms. Go Cougars!
