"Digging Deeper" with students writing
I saw this writing visual and wished I had used something like this for my struggling writers when I was teaching. I think the visual helps make it clear for students why we need to include more details in our writing and they can easily compare a "good," "better," and "best" example whenever they need to.
5 Comma Types That Can Make Or Break a Sentence
The last type of comma demonstrated in the video (around 1 min 30 seconds), the Oxford comma, has the word "beer" in the example, but it is such a great video otherwise. Maybe you could just show the first 4 examples!
