CTE programs engage high school students in high-quality, rigorous and relevant classes, designed to help them turn their passions into paychecks and their dreams into careers. CTE programs partner with local businesses and industry to create opportunities that promote creativity, innovation and leadership, which are relevant to the job market of today.
We have created a series of videos, titled “Grads Talking Shop” to highlight some of the 32 CTE programs across our six comprehensive high schools and one option high school. In this episode of "Grads Talking Shop," we explore the world of Automotive Technology through the eyes of Kristin Keppner, an alumnus of BHS and Auto Tech program. While housed at Aloha High School, the CTE Auto Tech program is available to students from any of our comprehensive high schools. (Transportation is provided.) Take a look! For more information about CTE programs, please visit the updated website: https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us/cte
