- promote dental hygiene; avoid cavities
OBESITY
- weighs 20% more then peers - same sex
- affects 25% of school-age children
- often bullied- emotional health
- fewer friends, often last selected, lack self-esteem
-either inherited, environmental factors, physical inactivity
- may develop high blood pressure when older
- encouraged to exercise more
