  • Cause: More buyers of vehicles in the time of the Cold War.
  • Reason: The amount of drivers went up by 35% between the years of 1950-1960.
  • Result: Over 41,000 miles of Highway built all across the country.

Importance:

  • Significance: They had redone and made over 40,000 miles of highway much nicer.
  • To Whom: All drivers in America

The Termination Policy

Description:


  • What? The Termination Policy. Its intentions were to grant Native Americans basic citizenship and rights, as well as be taxed and be tried in the court of law.
  • Time Period: 1953-1968
  • Location: All across America.

  • Cause: The Government wanted to find a way to tax Native Americans.
  • Reason: More money
  • Result: Termination Policy

Importance:



  • Significance: Brought Natives into citizenship
  • To Whom: Native Americans.
