Southeast Elementary Reopening news
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Southeast Elementary School I would like to officially welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. This year will be very different than what we are accustomed to, with some students attending fully online, and others attending in our hybrid model, 2 days in school, and 3 days online. Regardless of your child’s mode of instruction, we will undertake numerous academic and social adventures with your student, while using practices to keep all of our students and staff safe. All students and staff must wear a face covering when entering the bus or building. Face shields will be available for students to wear in class. It is the goal of the staff and faculty of Southeast to provide a safe and educationally rich environment that will maximize student learning.
To keep you updated, we will be posting new announcements on our website, Twitter, Facebook, Class Dojo, email, and text message. Please be sure to check one of these platforms frequently to stay informed.
We will be doing a soft opening during the first week of school to ensure that our systems provide the safest environment form our students. Here is the schedule for the first 2 weeks:
Due to social distancing concerns, we will not be having a traditional open house this year. Instead, teachers will be contacting you regarding conferences and/or virtual classroom tours.
Respectfully,
Mike Habecker, Principal
