Communications Camp, 2018

Congratulations and THANK YOU Mr. Miller!

The Communications Camp program started 20 years ago. Mr. Scheick, former high school principal, and Mr. Miller had a vision to bring this program to Columbia Central. They wanted to provide students with the opportunity to increase acceptance and tolerance of differences while building a connection among the student body. As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Communications Camp, we share gratitude for Mr. Miller. He has dedicated his time and passion to ensure this program has continued to grow year after year.

Thank you...

Staff members Derek Jackson and Tiffany Brinkman were also able to attend as mentors. In addition, community members: Bob Schneider, Nancy Harris, Cindy Pease, Doug McComas, Jolynn Salo and Todd Kennedy dedicated three days of their time to serve as mentors for our students. We are so grateful to all of them!

Thank you to the Beach Bar for donating pizza's for Communications Camp!
