A Peek into the Classroom

Check out our Principles of Engineering course taught by Mrs. Jokerst! Students are learning about energy forms through resistors and how the + and - charges flow throughout a grid. Students are also learning about the flow and direction of electrical currents. Students used Bread Boards to wire lights and then were able to test their wiring skills all while practicing social distancing and proper sanitation. Thank you Mrs. Jokerst and students for allowing us to "peek into your classroom!"
Check out our World Geography Foundations course taught by Mr. Reyes! Students are learning how to create a WE video, a program that will be used in their future courses. The goal of the lesson is to learn the basics of WE video, make gifs, podcasts, and many more features of the program. Students are able to watch screen casts for each step of the way to better assist students in understanding each step all while practicing social distancing and proper sanitation. Thank you Mr. Reyes and students for allowing us to "peek into your classroom!"

WHHS Level 2 Update

Hello Wolf Pack Families:

Please know that even while the County has moved into a more restrictive level (Purple), since the GUHSD and West Hills have already been underway in our Level 2 plan with 25% of our students able to attend one day a week, we will continue to do so as long as everyone remains healthy.

Please continue to practice 6 ft. social distancing, wearing face masks at all times on campus, washing hands for 20 seconds, using hand sanitizer frequently, and taking daily temperatures with remaining at home if at 100 degrees or more. We THANK YOU for helping to keep our community safe and operating!

Attached, and linked below, is the County flier of where you can get a free Covid test should you or a neighbor like to take one.

Student Handbook

Students and Parents/Guardians:

The faculty and staff are proud to partner with you in the education of your student. Educational success for all students cannot be complete without an effective partnership with all parents/guardians. You are the most essential part of your children’s education, and it is important that we build a strong relationship in order to best serve your student’s educational needs.

We strongly encourage you to review the 2020-21 Student Handbook.

This week we highlight the Electronic Devices Policy.

To protect personal property and avoid disruptions to the learning environment, all electronic devices (except your school issued/checked out Chromebook) should not be brought to school. This includes any audio or video devices such as, cell phones, iPods, MP3/MP4, headphones, game players, etc.. For more information, see our policy on page 44.

Neck and Face Gaiters Reminder

Also, The CDC has updated their website and our District has asked us to make sure we are not allowing neck and face gaiters on campus any longer. Please see the CDC page here for more information. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Thank you!
