This week
This week your student will continue working on their copyright project. Each group has made a contract and this is what they will follow for their group. This project is worth three test grades - the presentation, the assessment piece they create, and then their collaborative skill assessment. This is always one of the favorite projects for the freshmen so they should enjoy doing it. I can't wait to see the results.
When they turn items in on Schoology during group work, the group leader will turn it in and put everyone's name on the assignment. Some group leaders failed to do this last week - I will adjust grades as I figure out who is in which group.
Grades
Remember, Schoology is a great place to keep up with your child's grades. Please let me know if you need the parent access code for your child. Also, I emailed out an updated progress report this weekend. This has the most up-to-date grades. Please remind your child that this class goes on a college transcript so it is important to do well!
