Spring and Testing Season is Upon Us!
We are required to give state assessments and our first test is coming up on April 6th. Fourth graders will have the opportunity to take the STAAR Writing Assessment. We will be using this data to know where students are and what they need next year. This assessment will not be used to make grade placement decisions. If you have questions, concerns or panic attacks over this please reach out to Mrs. Davis for help.
To help your student be ready for the writing test, please make sure they have had a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast. We will provide water and a snack. It is important to reduce stress by making sure your child arrives at school by 7:40. Kiss them, hug them and let them know how much you love and support them.
Thanks for your help!

Changes to Quarantine Guidelines Beginning March 29th
Beginning Monday, March 29th, Lago Vista ISD will begin using the shorter quarantine options provided by both Austin Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. The updated quarantine length periods for both students and unvaccinated employees will be determined based on the exposure risk and risk of transmitting the virus to those who could develop severe symptoms from the virus.

As always, we appreciate the efforts and flexibility of our amazing students, staff, and families as we work to keep our schools safe and operational.
Have a great weekend, Vikings!
