Blast! 2016
BLAST camp will be held June 9-12 at South Georgia State College in Douglas, Georgia. Attend for a weekend of leadership, games, development, and lots of FUN! Sign up by April 29th and don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
“I can honestly say that BLAST Leadership Camp was by far the most impactful leadership experience that have ever had, and I have attended tons of different leadership conferences and retreats. The Leadership techniques learned and enlightenment received from BLAST allowed my council to not only be more efficient but also become a tight‐knit family. I cannot imagine how amazing every council would be if they were able to attend BLAST. It was absolutely redefining.” ‐Jason Quill, Grayson High School

Pillar 2: Service
Dude Be Nice Week
DUDE BE NICE Week is a week dedicated to spreading "niceness" in schools and communities. Throughout the week, you should facilitate conversation about what being nice truly means, think of activities that promote kindness and provide the change for students to take the lead in executing 'nice' activities in their schools and community.
This project can be completed any week, just put it into action!

Pillar 6: Advisor Development
Advisor Spotlight: Advisor of the Year
"I was so honored at GASC Convention to be named High School Advisor of the
Year. Being an advisor is an amazing and rewarding job. I get to spend
thousands of hours every year with some of the most amazing students in the
world, and being with them reaffirms my belief that we can all make a
difference in the lives of others by being authentic servant leaders. I am
blessed beyond measure, and so humbled by my students nominating me for
Advisor of the Year. They make me proud of all we can accomplish when we
work together as a family to make our school, community, state and nation a
better place."
