8th Grade Weekly News
Week of December 9th-13th
General News!
Happy Monday!
Tonight our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands will perform their annual holiday concert at 6;30pm in the performing arts center at CCHS. We hope to see you there to enjoy the sounds of the season!
This week is our last full week of classes, but please be aware that there is still much to be done before we all get to enjoy our winter break. Students should be making every effort to be here each day, and completing all their assignments. Progress reports for the end of this quarter will go home when we return from break.
Next Thursday, December 17th, we will be having our annual "Tacky Christmas Sweater Contest". This is the perfect opportunity to show off your creative side and enjoy some holiday fun! Prizes will be awarded in each of the three grade levels, as well as a few special awards.
This Friday, December 18th, our 8th grade students who have had "Perfect Attendance" so far this year will attend our annual Bowling Trip. Permission slips were sent home with eligible students last week, and should be returned as soon as possible.
A quick reminder that Zero Period will be available until Dec. 18th, but Power Hour will be strickly by teacher invatation this week, and none next week. Please remember eighth graders get picked up at the end of the 8th grade hallway in the bus loop. If they have younger siblings staying after school too, they will be asked to join us on 8th grade hall.
