Principal's Message
Hello Chapman Families,
Yesterday was such a wonderful day for a costume parade! Our auditorium was packed with Chapman families and friends who turned out for some adorable 1st and 4th grade choral performances, and the weather was perfect for an autumnal celebration. Thank you to all who helped, especially the parents who created all the signs for our parade and the staff who organized and prepared all of the festivities.
We have great news from the district! The water tests at Chapman have been completed. The test results show that the quality of water coming from the drinking faucets exceeds the EPA recommendations for schools. Therefore, the district is now ready to turn the drinking faucets back on at Chapman and you can use those drinking faucets this week!

spa-ghetti-together
Hello Chapman Families!
We are so excited to welcome nearly 400 of you to our first annual Spaghetti Together community event! A few important things to know:
If you have not yet RSVPed, we have room at 7 pm ONLY. Please do so ONLINE ONLY. A link to do so is at friendsofchapman.org
Given our very high attendance numbers, please make sure you are on time for your reservation and factor in the time necessary to park or consider public transport/walking/biking options.
Please remember to bring CASH! $3 suggested per person, but we won't turn you away for lack of funds or turn down extra dollars either ;)
Due to our tight timeline and our fantastic 2nd and 5th grade performances at 6 and 7 p.m., we really want to make sure that everyone is through the cafeteria in a quick and efficient manner!
Once you are finished eating, please move on to the delicious caramel station in the first grade hallway or visit with your friends in the auditorium or hallways.
Surprise! Your attendance gives you TWO chances to win one of the following prizes!
- Two tickets to our Spring Art Auction, our biggest fundraiser of the year!
- A golden ticket for the auction! A $100 value!
Finally, we ask for patience and good humor as we navigate these unprecedented pasta waters! Thank your fellow parent and staff volunteers who are working hard to make this a successful event!!
