The current operational referendum for an additional $500,000 in annual revenue will end next year. The district has had two operational referendum over the past 11 years to combat the loss of over $9,000,000 in funding due to budget reductions at the state level. The Ripon Area School Board wants to engage with parents, teachers and community in a discussion regarding what the next operational referendum could include. The Board has set the following referendum planning timeline:

April 15 - Survey Ripon community
May 18 - Share survey results

November 3 - Election.
Please consider joining us to have your voice heard regarding the needs of the school district.
Have a great rest of the week!

New Website Going LIVE January 22
The new RASD website will go live on Wednesday, January 22 with the technical transition beginning early that morning.
Visitors/website users will not need to do anything differently as the new site will simply replace the existing site. However, during the transition and rollout process, there may be minor disruptions to access or content. While any disruption should be brief, we appreciate your understanding and patience. We selected a late start day to try and make the transition smooth.
The new website is part of our continuous improvement goals. We think you will find the website modern and very user friendly. It was built with a “mobile-first” mindset and utilizes a 100% responsive design. That means that the website automatically shifts to accommodate any size screen making fonts readable and images clearly visible on every device. No more “pinching and zooming” on smartphones! Additionally, all district webpages are accessible to all persons, including those with disabilities. Our site vendor will continue to follow essential accessibility requirements. Take a look at the attachment to see what the new site will look like.
Below you will find a short tutorial highlighting some features and navigation tips for the new site.
K-2 School Choice
For planning purposes, we ask families to note their school preference(s) on the form sent home before February 28. Extra brochures are always available at Barlow Park/Journey!
