JJH IRS Update
Here's what's going on!
Writing Workshop!
I have been having a blast working in classrooms to teach a mini lesson in writing. I want to thank those teachers who have invited me in to teach a mini-lesson. I appreciate the conversations afterwards and hope they have been helpful. If you are interested in having me in, please let me know! It doesn't have to be a writing mini-lesson. We could work on a Kagan strategy, too!
Writers Writing
Nancy Oloier allowed me in to work with her students! It was awesome to see so many of them with their pencils and pens flying across the page!
Quotable Quotes
The kids gave us a great quote..."I don't like writing...I LOVE it!" Now that is what I call success!
Genius Hour
Meg Rademacher and I began working on Genius Hour with her science classes! The kids began by decorating their notebooks and folders. The students are now working on developing questions about what thye are passionate about!

Here is a video with some Kagan cheers you could use anytime in your class! (Thanks Amy Medows for the idea!)
