My Immune Response
Pathogen
A bacterium, virus,or other microorganism that can cause disease.
Antigen
A toxin or other foreign substance that induces an immune response in the body, especially the production of antibodies.
Other descriptions of the Immune system.
First defense is when non specific barriers fight to keep foreign matter away. Second defence is when the white blood cells fight against bacteria.
What happened
The pathogen was Bacterial because the sickness did not last long. The body attempted to fight off the bacteria. Once all of the bacteria was gone my immune system was stronger so that in the future my system could fight off the infections easier and faster next time. In my immune system my cells and tissues were working hard to fight off bacteria. My body will in the future be stronger to in the future fight off infections. My body produced more white blood cells so that they attack any infections in the future.
Conclusion
To wrap it up white blood cells will fight off later infections making my immune system stronger. As a result I have not gotten sick since then.
