MARK TWAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL - FIELD TRIP
During the beginning of the 3rd nine weeks, MSP students were learning about the Mexican-American war. To deepen the learning experience, MSP students traveled to the IMAX theatre to watch the feature presentation of, “The Alamo – Price of Freedom”. It was a great blended experience where students learned in the classroom about important characters in history and then were able to see them on the IMAX screen in action.
After the movie, MSP stopped at Brackenridge park to enjoy a school prepared lunch at the Joske Pavilion. Even though the weather was cold we were able to enjoy lunch together at the park.
Team Building
MSP students at Twain also continue to participate in team building activities in order to produce short term and long term goals. The 3rd nine weeks’ team building skills will focus on:
· Improving self-esteem and confidence
· Improving patience
· Improving problem solving skills
· Improving social and communication skills
