What middle school did you attend? What years did you attend?
Coach Woodham went to LaMarque Junior High School for 7th and 8th grade. During the years of 1973-1975, she attended LaMarque Junior High School.
What activities were you involved in?
She was involved in softball, track, girl and boy house parties, and played outside.
What were you like in middle school?
Coach Woodham was quiet, kind of shy, didn't like confrontation, didn't like to get into trouble, athletic, was a ''tom-boy'', and made A's and B's.
What bands, movies, and TV shows were your favorite?
Bands: Jackson 5, The Monkeys, Beach Boys, Fleetwood Mac, America, Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Commodores, and Bee Gees
TV Shows: Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Gilligan's Island, Bonanza, Rifle Man, Gunsmoke, Good Times, Sanford and Sons, Charlie's Angels, Happy Days, and MASH

What was your most prized possession or favorite thing?
Coach Woodham's prized possessions were new shoes and record players and records.

FCCLA: Announcing winner for "Pennies For Puppies"
TSA: Celebrating their win at County Competition and preparing for the upcoming photography show.
TSA County Competition
On Thursday, TSA went to County Competition and competed in Digital Photography, Creed, Children's Stories, Tech Bowl and 3D CAD. Our Tech Bowl team of Antonio Li, Bree Kendrick and Grace Rodgers won 3rd and Anna Claire Nolfe won 2nd in photography!! Additionally, Meadow Stowell won 5th in Children's Stories and Jada McCollum won 5th in Creed. This was the first appearance at competition by Daphne Middle in a few years and Ms. Schneider is very proud of all of the participants!

Chocolate Applesauce Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, using an electric mixer set on medium speed. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Blend in the vanilla extract. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the applesauce.
- Pour the batter into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
