SOCCER GAMES FOR THE WEEK

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for their first win against Central Baldwin on Monday! The boys soccer team also won against Central Baldwin on Monday. But disappointingly, the boys and girls lost against Foley on Thursday. It was a very good game and a nail biter as well.

Athletes of the Week!

For the first time we have chosen two athletes of the week! The two athletes that we have picked are Mitchell Koser and Ty Turner. These two play for DMS soccer team and are the teams captain(Ty T.) and co captain(Mitchell K.). Ty says that it is frustrating being the team captain because he has to get on to his teammates who are his peers off the pitch. Mitchell agrees with Ty in saying that it is frustrating at times but characterizes leadership skills. Thank you guys for being such amazing captains.

CARLEY'S WORDS OF WISDOM

Week 9 - Wisdom

  • The way you see people is the way you treat them and the way you treat them is what they become
  • The journey of 1,000 miles begins with one step
  • Don't go to the path may lead, go instead where is no path and leave a trail
  • It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see
  • If you want to be successful, you have to stamp a positive picture in your mind and see it everyday. Once you do that, it will start developing in your life
  • When it is obvious, that the goals cannot be reached don't adjust the goals adjust the action steps
  • It's little details that are vital, little things make the big things happen
