Message from the Principal

GLOW Students & Families,

We hope you had a great weekend!

We are looking forward to the week ahead at GLOW, followed by a well deserved Spring Break for students and staff! As a reminder, GLOW will be closed for students from Friday, April 7 - Monday, April 17! We look forward to having students on campus Monday - Thursday of this week and then again on Tuesday, April 18!

This week is Assistant Principals Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for the work that both Mrs. Livengood and Mr. Kirby do at GLOW Academy! Also, this is Mrs. Livengood's last week at GLOW. We are thankful for her service to our school and wish her the best! Please take a moment this week to drop Mrs. Livengood (llivengood@glowacademy.net) and Mr. Kirby (akirby@glowacademy.net) a quick email to share your appreciation for all they do to serve our school!

Wishing you all a great week followed by a safe and fun Spring Break!

Kate B. Tayloe

Principal

April 4th - Class of 2024 - Junior Night

Class of 2024 Students and Parents, College Bound is requesting the attendance of all students in the Class of 2024 and at least one adult from their family at Junior Night on Tuesday, April 4th, in the cafeteria beginning promptly at 6 p.m. As we continue to prepare for senior year, we want to share information about what to expect and general updates for summer and the start of the school year. Attendance at this event enters each student and adult into a raffle for special prizes! Please email Mrs. Jahleese (jhadley@glowacademy.net) with questions or concerns.

NCVPS Students' Coursework

Students enrolled in a NCVPS course or CCP course - please note you do have work to complete over Spring Break. For NCVPS courses, April 7th and 10th are holidays, but students should be following their pacing guides and completing work based on scheduled due dates. NCVPS does not have a spring break.

Last Chance for Tickets!

Has your student ever dreamed of pieing a teacher? Well here is their chance! Starting Monday, March 27th, the Prom Committee will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to pie a teacher. Tickets are $1.00. Students may buy as many tickets as they want. The more tickets they buy, the better chance they will have to pie a staff member.

On Thursday, April 6th, we will all gather in the courtyard to have a drawing for each staff member and the lucky student whose name is drawn will be the one to throw the pie for that teacher!
