Kudos to the staff who volunteered....
Thanks so Tracy, Michele, Sarah and Liz, Leigh Ann for volunteering at this year's Breakfast for Santa. We appreciate your support, and the kids really enjoyed it!!
Growth Mindset and Math....In Art
Mr. Wellman did a great job teaching his kids origami Christmas boxes. He reminded them to have a growth mindset as they were learning new things.
Kudos to Mrs. Rone for being so flexible this week in helping in so many places...
Mrs. Rone helped with our #hourofcode. Also, THANKS Mrs. Cardman and Mrs. Lane for working with the Science Fair and seeing it to the end!! Another great year of celebrating our scientists.
Personnel Updates
As you know, Mrs. Scriven and Mrs. Swift have selected to retire at the end of December. We certainly applaud their decades of dedication and their love for our children over the years. We wish them continued peace and happiness as they enter this next chapter of their lives.
Also, Mrs. Aiken is transitioning to new heights in her educational journey and will not be with us after the holiday break.
Our school will deeply miss all three of these ladies, and wish them the best!
The school board has approved Miss Sarah Elkins as one of our new third grade teachers! We are excited to have her join our team! We have recommended a second third grade teacher for Monday's Board Agenda. We will keep you posted.
We are interviewing for our media position on January 6 from 3:30-5:30. If you would like to be apart of the interviewing team, please send me an email.
