CHS POM QUALIFIES FOR NATIONALS
Congratulations to CHS Pom, under the direction of Ms. Nicole Butenschoen, for qualifying for Nationals! Excellent work, Wolves!
WOLVES WIN WAY INTO STATE SEMI-FINALS
Chandler defeated Desert Vista 62-7 in Round 2 of the State Playoffs last Thursday. Come out to Hamilton High this Friday to watch the Wolves take on the Perry Pumas. Kick-off is at 7:00pm. The AIA has set ticket prices at $10 for adults and $5 for students. Let’s cheer the Wolves to a victory this Friday and earn a spot in the State Finals! (Photo Credit: Paul Mason)

MARCHING BAND COMPLETES GREAT COMPETITION SEASON

Music, fun, activities, dance, poetry, and a celebration of language invaded the CHS courtyard last Thursday! Thanks to the World Language Department and Ashby Gentry and Liam Thibeault, Student Coordinators, for organizing a great showcase of talent!
UNIFIED SOCCER GAME SCHEDULE
CULINARY STUDENTS VOLUNTEER AT FMSC
Fourteen Culinary students and their teacher Ms. Mayberry volunteered at Feed My Starving Children last Thursday. Rising to the challenge of "Who can pack the most", Chandler High took the top spot, packing 6,048 meals for children in Honduras. Together, with all of the volunteers in their session, 177 boxes (38,232 meals) were packed, which will feed 104 kids 3 meals a day for a year.

CHS BOYS BASKETBALL ALUMNI GAME
The CHS Boys Basketball Team will be hosting an alumni game this Saturday in the Payne Gym. Former CHS boys basketball players are invited to come out and reunite with former teammates, coaches, and friends. In order to participate or come to the event, participants/spectators must bring a donation of non-perishable food for the Chandler CARE Center. Come out this Saturday and support a great cause.

BLOOD DRIVE
CHS is hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 22nd. The goal is to collect 150 units of blood. Please visit room 104 for additional info or visit the table set up at lunch.
FAF$A OPEN LAB NIGHT
Two weeks ago, the CHS Counseling Department and reps from ASU, NAU, GCU, University of Phoenix and Western Governors University helped 45 students and families apply for FAFSA during Open Lab Night. If you were unable to attend CHS’s event, you are welcome to attend another at a site below, on the date that works best for you. Please select one appointment time slot per student at the time/date of your choosing. Sign up here.

Chaparral High School is hosting the Selective Colleges Admissions Panel on Monday, November 14th, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the auditorium. This panel will be especially helpful for freshmen-juniors in their college planning for a selective school (Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford and Yale represented). Are you looking for a way to help families in need this holiday season? The Chandler CARE Center’s Thanksgiving Family Assistance Day on Saturday, November 19th is your opportunity! Please join CHS in helping to provide the makings for a Thanksgiving meal to Chandler families in need. CHS will take your donations of turkeys, canned fruits, dry pinto beans, cereal, boxed stuffing, boxed desserts (pudding or Jell-O), canned vegetables, soup, rice, instant mashed potatoes, pasta, mac and cheese, toiletries, hygiene items (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.), and paper goods (paper towels, tissue, toilet paper) up to this Wednesday, November 16th. Thank you for your support of the CARE Center and your commitment to helping Chandler families in need, and a special thanks to the following CHS student groups and departments who have pledged their support.
