Communicable diseases and how to

prevent them all by yourself

Communicable diseases

A communicable disease is an easily catch-able disease that you can't get from birth and such. That is why people should know about them and how to prevent it from being caught by themselves. You can get them everywhere else practically, and it's easy to catch.

Medical Definition of communicable disease. : an infectious disease transmissible (as from person to person) by direct contact with an affected individual or the individual's discharges or by indirect means (as by a vector)—compare contagious disease - Webster definition

Most known/Common Communicable Diseases

Ebola

Flu

Rabies

STIs

West Nile Virus

Ways to prevent in general

Common ways to prevent these diseases are

Washing your hands (there is a reason for that guys)

Cleaning up after places you've been (another reason to clean up your messes)

Don't share food or drinks (don't even waterfall drinks, it wont stop the diseases already presesnt on the place where the owner drank)

Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough.

Avoid contact at all with a sick person (if you're sick STAY HOME)

I learned that communicable diseases could be everywhere but they can be avoided when you know what to do. You need to make sure that you keep clear of sick people, and make sure not to mess with what they have messed with. These diseases can kill too, if it gets worse enough. They can also be caused by things like drugs and alcohol, which can be common causes of death. I learned that it is something that shouldn't be messed with.

Knowing how many communicable diseases could be scary, but I learned that if you're careful they can be easily avoided. 80 are supposed to be reported to a public health center, and that is because they need to know. Stuff like Ebola and West Nile Virus, people want/need to know because of what could happen to people because of it.
