Thailand is a beautiful place, with strangely shaped palace but still are cool. And other beautiful stuff you are gonna see and learn more about. it is a free country and makes a great life for people it also has a population of 62.4 million. The real cool thing about the people that live Their are not inside wasting their time playing video games or watching TV they are outside exploring the beautiful place they live in living their life. Even KIDS OMG.

Geography

The geography of Thailand comprises of varied and attractive landscape features. Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. This country is precisely located on the southeastern part of Burma, sharing its borders with the Andaman sea and the gulf of Thailand. most of Thailand has a tropical wet and dry or savanna climate. The south and the eastern tip of the east have a tropical monsoon climate. Country wide temperatures normally range from an average high of 38 Degrees C to a low of 19 D C. The regions Northern Thailand, north eastern Thailand, central Thailand, eastern Thailand, western Thailand, and southern Thailand. Thailand's regions are feather politically divided into a total of 77PROVINCES.

The culture of Thailand incorporates cultural beliefs and characteristics indigenous to the area known as modern-day Thailand coupled with much influence from ancient India, China, Cambodia, along with the neighboring pre-historic cultures of Southeast Asia. It is influenced primarily by Animism , Hinduism, Buddhism, as well as by later migrations from China, and southern India.

Thai cuisine is the national cuisine of Thailand. Blending elements of several Southeast Asian traditions, Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components. The spicness of Thai cuisine is well known. As with other Asian cuisines, balance, detail and variety are of great significance to Thai chefs. Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, and bitter.

1000-1099- Thais begin moving from southern China into what is now Thailand.

1350- A unified Thai kingdom is established under the rule of King Ramathibodi. A series of kings follow, ruling what was then known as Siam.

1896-A British-French treaty guarantees independence for the new country.

1932-A bloodless revolution ends the absolute monarchy. The royal family is replaced by a representational government.

1939-Siam officially changes its name to Thailand.

1941-Japan invades Thailand in World War II, forcing Thailand to fight with Japan in the war.

1944-Thailand takes back a declaration of war against the United States and Britain. After the war, it becomes an ally of the U.S.

1946-Thailand becomes the 55th member of the United Nations.

1960s-1970s-Thailand is involved in conflicts in the neighboring countries of Cambodia and Vietnam. The U.S. maintains military bases in Thailand during the Vietnam War.

2008-Thousands of pro- and antigovernment demonstrators rally in Bangkok. Thailand declares a state of emergency.

Thailand's citizenship is The current (2007) construction, drafted by a body appointed by the then military junta , states "The human dignity, rights, liberty and equality of the people shall be protected."Articles 26 to 69 set out an extensive range of specific rights in such areas as criminal justice, education, non-discrimination, religion and freedom of expression.

Thailand's Econemy

Its economy is heavily export-dependent, with exports accounting for more than two-thirds of its gross domestic product (GDP).The industrial and service sectors are the main sectors in the Thai gross domestic product, with the former accounting for 39.2 percent of GDP. Thailand's agricultural sector produces 8.4 percent of the GDP – lower than the trade and logistics and communication sectors, which account for 13.4 percent and 9.8 percent of GDP respectively. The construction and mining sector adds 4.3 percent to the country’s gross domestic product. Other service sectors (including the financial, education and hotel and restaurant sectors) account for 24.9 percent of the country's GDP.
