School Compact & Family Engagement
2022-2023
Title Compact- Our Shared Commitments
Panther Lake Elementary is a Title I school, which means the federal government provides additional funding to schools for specially designed programs to meet the diverse needs of educationally at-risk scholars. School districts receive grant money based on several factors including free and reduced lunch rates in each building. Each Title 1 School has a Title Compact with families as part of our Title 1 requirements. The compact outline the roles of the scholar, family, and the school.
The parents, scholars and staff of Panther Lake Elementary School developed this Scholar-Family-School Compact to increase achievement. Teachers suggested home learning strategies, parents added ideas to make them more specific, and students told us what would help them learn. Meetings are held each year to review the Compact and make changes based on student needs.
