SAT/ISAT DAY - 4/13

Important information regarding Junior SAT Testing Day and Sophomore ISAT Day on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.


What will SENIOR STUDENTS do on April 13, 2022?

Senior students will be participating in asynchronous learning activities from home.


JUNIOR SAT TESTING INFORMATION:

  • Juniors are to report to their assigned testing room prior to 7:45 am. PLEASE BE ON TIME.

  • Cell phones must be turned off and put away during the testing time from 7:45 am until the final collection of materials.

  • STUDENTS SHOULD BRING: #2 PENCILS, A CALCULATOR (there are no calculators available to loan/check out), AND THEIR STUDENT I.D.

  • STUDENTS CAN BRING A WATCH (no alarm or internet access), SNACK, WATER BOTTLE, EXTRA BATTERIES/BACKUP CALCULATOR.

  • NO CELL PHONES, LAPTOP, TIMER, SMARTWATCH, EARBUDS, BOOKS, HIGHLIGHTER, DICTIONARY, PENS OR MECHANICAL PENCILS, SCRATCH PAPER.

  • Of course, a healthy breakfast and a good night’s sleep is highly recommended!


SOPHOMORE ISAT TESTING INFORMATION:

Sophomore ISAT Day Information

  • Sophomores are to report to their assigned testing room with their school issued Chromebook by 7:45 am. PLEASE BE ON TIME.

  • Testing room location rosters will be posted before students arrive at on April 13

  • If a sophomore does not have a school issued Chromebook they are asked to check-out one from the library before Tuesday, April 13.

  • Students are asked to bring their own earbuds that are compatible with their Chromebook on testing day. There will be a limited number of earbuds for students who do not own a pair.

  • Students need to know their student ID number. If they do not have it memorized, they should make sure they have their student ID card with them.

  • Cell phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices must be turned off and put away during the testing time (7:45 am until the final testing is complete at approximately 12:30 pm).

  • STUDENTS ARE TO BRING:

    • Fully charged school issued Chromebook. (Please bring the charger too.)

    • Earbuds (Compatible with student Chromebook.)

    • Book to read and/or homework. (To have available when finished testing.)

    • Pen or pencil. (Scratch paper will be provided)

    • Small snack for the break

    • Water bottle

    • Student ID#

  • Of course, a healthy breakfast and a good night’s sleep is also recommended!

ATTENDANCE OFFICE INFORMATION

Please remember that any absences not verified within 48 hours will result in a Truancy which could be followed by disciplinary action.


You can call absences in at 208-854-4493. Permits to leave must be called in to 208-854-4494 and Thank you Parents for giving us ample time to get those delivered to your students, it is much appreciated.

Activity Card $30.00 - All Student Athletes are required to purchase an Activity Card.

Parking Permit $15.00 (Please bring: car registration, drivers license, car insurance and parking permit receipt to the Book Room)

PARKING PERMIT


Students parking at Capital must have a 2021-2022 parking permit present in vehicle. Parking Tickets will be issued to any vehicle parked at Capital that does NOT have a parking permit visible in vehicle.


Parking Permit $15.00 (Please bring: car registration, drivers license & proof of insurance to the bookroom. A parking permit will be issued to each student for one vehicle.)


Please do NOT park in numbered spots, those are reserved for Capital Staff. Please do NOT park in RESERVED PARKING SPOTS (marked with signs). You will be ticketed!

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

2021 - 2022 Boise School District 1 to 1 Device Responsible Use and Non-Refundable Damage Deposit (Voluntary). Please click on button for more information

CAPITAL OPEN ENROLLMENT

If you are planning to attend Capital High School next year and live outside our boundaries you must complete an open enrollment continuation form and have it signed by parents or guardians for the 22-23 school year. The deadline to turn it in is APRIL 29TH 2022.

The form can be picked up at the counseling office OR you can print one out on the Boise School District website: www.boiseschools.org under the Parents & Patrons tab.

In order to keep you a part of our Capital Family we need to have all the proper paperwork on file so don’t delay, please turn your form in ASAP!

STUDENT DROP OFF ZONE

Attention Parents & Students, the student drop off zone is in the East Parking lot.


Parents and Students will no longer be able to drop off/pickup students at the front of the School, due to continued issues with buses not being able to gain access to the bus pickup/drop off zone. Please help keep the drop off area running smoothly by pulling all the way up to the student entrance double doors near the south end of the east student parking lot.
