Our mission involves students of different abilities that train and compete together as a team, which is a rewarding experience for all. “CHANDLER THROUGH YOUR EYES” ART CONTEST
Calling all artists! Mayor Hartke has launched Chandler Through Your Eyes, the inaugural State of the City youth art contest, to see how the younger generation sees Chandler, now and into the future.
Participants can share what Chandler means to them through a painting, drawing, photography, or digital formats. All artwork will be displayed at the 2022 State of the City on February 17 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Applicants and families are invited to attend the free event, which will feature a live concert, refreshments, and the State of the City address.
An online voting system will allow the public to vote for their favorite pieces. Cash scholarships will be awarded to the winners.
Submissions are due by Feb. 4, 2022. Eligibility and details can be found below.

Interested in making a tax credit donation to help students become involved in fun, meaningful, and life-enhancing activities?
Arizona law ARS 43-1089.01 enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $400.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married, filing Joint Return; $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Single or Head of Household; and, $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married filing separate return — for contributions that fund extracurricular activities in public schools. A tax credit is a full refund, not a deduction.
Contributions eligible for a tax credit are donated directly to schools, not to the state or the school district.
