Clothing
Clothing is typically well made and have a long history attached to them. Men are typically seen wearing linen driving caps. Patchwork is popular and so is tweed.
Housing
Irish buildings are built the same way that they were hundreds of years ago. Central heat comes in the form of boilers, although cement bricks have replaced cut stone.
Recreation
Irish recreation includes Gaelic games, horse and greyhound racing, basketball, fishing, handball, motor sport, tennis and target shooting. Gaelic football is the most popular sport.

Christianity is the largest religion in the republic of Ireland. Irish Christianity is dominated by the Roman Cathlolic church, which takes up 84.2% of the population of followers.
