Graduation Details
Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 6th at 2:30. It will take place at the new home of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field, 734 Stadium Drive, Arlington Texas, 76011.
Ticket Distribution
Tickets will be distributed to families on Monday, June 1st from 10:00am-1:00pm and on Tuesday, June 2nd from 3:00-6:00pm at the main entry to CHS.
Seating is limited to 10 guests per graduate. Each graduate will be given two packets of 5 tickets which will meet the guideline of social distancing. There are no extra tickets available.
Each ticket will be assigned to a specific seat. Stadium security will monitor social distancing and seating requirements.
Only the graduating senior will be allowed to sign for their tickets. No exceptions.
Students will only be allowed to sign for their own tickets.
Seating and Park Rules:
Students will receive their ticket as they enter the gate on the date of Graduation.
The gates will open at 1:30. Students will need to arrive at that time.
Globe Life Field uses a “no bag” policy. This means no purses, backpacks, etc. The only bags that will be allowed will be diaper bags for babies or medical bags for those in need.
One sealed bottle of water will be allowed per guest. No food will be allowed in and no concessions will be available.
Parking will be free. Students and families will park in Lot R on the south side of the stadium.
Students will enter the stadium through the west side VIP gates. Families will enter through the Southwest Entry.
Proper Attire for the Ceremony:
No flip flops, athletic shoes, or house shoes will be permitted to be worn by graduates during the ceremony. Keep in mind that graduates will be doing a lot of walking so comfortable dress shoes are a must.
Jeans, sweats, wind pants, shorts, or tee shirts are not appropriate.
Males will need to be in a collared shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes or boots.
Females should wear a dress or slacks and dress shoes or nice boots. No high heels should be worn due to the Globe Life Field regulations.
Mortar boards (Graduation caps) shall not be decorated.
Graduates and families are encouraged but not required to wear masks and gloves.
Ceremony:
Graduates shall have their cap and tassel, gown, and any cords or stoles you are permitted to wear.
Graduates will only be allowed to wear cords, medals, etc. which were issued to them by CHS.
Students who have not yet received their cords/stoles will receive them during ticket distribution.
Once a student is issued their cords/stoles it is their responsibility to bring them to the ceremony. There are not any extras.
There is no place at Globe Life Field to store purses, bags, etc. Those should be left in your car or with a family member.
Any behavior that detracts from the ceremony will be dealt with immediately and removal from the ceremony will be the result of such behavior. This would be embarrassing for all involved.
Diplomas will be distributed as the ceremony ends and the graduates are on their way off of the field. All fines owed to CHS must be paid in order to receive your diploma. If a student still owes money on the date of graduation, their diploma will be available at CHS once normal school operations are resumed.
There will not be a processional (walk in) or a recessional (walk out). When the graduate arrives and receives their ticket, they will go immediately to their seat. Graduates will be seated alphabetically with a staff member in their section as well.
Pictures will be taken at home plate.
When the ceremony is concluded, all attendees will be dismissed according to Globe Life Field procedures.
Please remember, the graduation ceremony is meant to be conducted with dignity and, while celebration is appropriate and expected, such displays should be in accordance with accepted community standards. We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with the Class of 2020!

We're here for you! We understand the COVID-19 may be creating extra anxiety for people who are experiencing abuse. We are committed to continuing to serve everyone who needs us--we are also committed to protecting the health of our clients and team and doing our part to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
Check out our interim operating guidelines.
If you are in an abusive relationship, you should be aware that the extra stress and anxiety we are all experiencing puts you at extra risk and that abusers are likely to try to use the COVID-19 pandemic to their advantage. Abusers may:
Try to manipulate survivors into believing there are no resources available for them or that police or paramedics won’t respond to their calls.
Try to tell survivors that the abuser is infected, that they’ve infected the survivor, and if the survivor leaves them, they’ll put others at risk (a way to trap them at home).
Forbid the survivor from seeing friends or family because of the risk.
Downplay the risk and force the survivor to leave the house, or threaten to kick them out and expose them to the virus.
Limit sharing critical information about the virus with survivors.
Remember--One Safe Place provides an essential service, so we are still open. IF Y'ALL NEED US, Y'ALL COME SEE US. We are located at 1100 Hemphill Street in Fort Worth. It's a good idea to call before you come, and if you don't feel like it's safe to leave the house or to come visit us, we can help you by phone. Our number is 817-916-4323.
While our world, our country and our community are being affected by the pandemic of COVID-19, the significant problems created by violence, crisis, and poverty continue. The Women’s Center is committed to providing service to our community in the midst of these challenging times.
