Another Great Week @ SV
As of Wednesday 4/14, all water fountains will be open again. With water fountains and bottle filling stations available, we will no longer be giving out water bottles in the Nurse's office. Students will need to make it a point to bring your hydro flasks or else use the water fountains.

Attention 4-7th Graders
Band Sign-ups are now available for ALL upcoming 5th-8th Graders for the 21-22 school year! Never been in band before?? No problem! If you're looking to just start band and are entering 6th-8th grade, we would be more than happy to have you join us! Make sure that when you go to sign up your student(s), that you have them take the instrument matching tool as well! This will help me place you on the instrument that you will be most successful on. :) If you are just starting band and going into 6th-8th Grade, plan on joining us for Turbo Band on Monday/Wednesdays after school on top of you scheduled band class during the day! We are also currently gauging interest for a separate percussion ensemble class during the school day. The percussion ensemble class would work on the same pieces that the brass and woodwinds are working on, while also working on pieces that are just for percussion.
Make sure to go to Mr. Lynch's website to register your student for band! This registration is for all NEW and RETURNING Members. If you have any questions about required materials for the 21-22 school year, please reach out to Mr. Lynch at benjamin.lynch@dvusd.org or refer to the Sierra Verde Band Website. Thank you, and I hope to see YOU be part of the band!
Best,
Mr. Lynch
