Ischemic Heart Disease

What is it?

Heart disease from reduced blood flow to the heart.


Symptoms include:
  • Chest pain
  • Exertional dyspnoea
  • Orthopnoea
  • Cardiomegaly
  • Peripheral oedema
  • Cardiac arrhythmias
  • Paroxysmal


Ischemic heart disease is caused by a decrease in blood flow through one or more of the blood vessels that carry oxygen to your heart
