Sprague Staff Welcomes Families to Curriculum Night
Changes Made to School Lunch Program
Our school lunch provider, Quest Food Services, revisited the myMealOrder program offered at Sprague and Half Day after taking into account input from parents. Quest instituted some changes including ordering no more than two days out. Please read the rest of the changes on the Quest Frequently Asked Questions about myMealOrder website page.

Absence Reminder
Please report all absences to the office by 8:30 a.m. by using the following email of Ls_attendance@d103.org or calling into 847-945-6686 or 847-945-6665. Both numbers accept messages if you are calling during non-school hours.
When calling in or emailing please provide the following information: Spell your child's first and last name, teacher's name, grade, and the reason for the absence. If your child is sick, please leave the symptoms as well.
Automated attendance calls are programmed to go out at 9:30 a.m. for students who have not been reported absent to the office. Should you report your absence after 9:00 a.m., you may still receive an automated call if we have not processed your attendance in PowerSchool.
Preschool & Kindergarten Game Night
Come play at the Sprague playground and hardtop! Family members of all ages are welcome, so please feel free to bring siblings, grandparents, or anyone else in your family. This is an opportunity to meet other parents from your student’s class and grade! To keep the event safe and fun for everyone, please do not bring snacks. Pizza and bottled water will be provided. Please respond to the Game Night Google form to show your interest in attending the event.
School Reminders
- Parents, please hold onto your adult shoeboxes for an upcoming Operation Shoebox Packing Project. The second-grade team plans to fill them with school supplies, toiletries, socks, and small toys or stuffed animals. We will collect them in late September or early October. For details on what to collect, please read the Sprague News article on Shoeboxes.
- If you are dropping off your student(s) in the morning, please remember that cars are not allowed to enter the front drive. Please read up where to drop off children in the morning.
- Parents/guardians need to make every effort to have their student(s) at school on time for the start of our day at 8:05 a.m. (first bell). For more on school start times, please read the Start Time Reminder bulletin.
