Wow- January has come and gone!
My favorite giggle moments were when I had to ask one of the kids not to put a glue stick on their lips like chapstick, and when I asked someone, “ Now what happens when we scream?…answer “We get gummy bears! :-) … we give out gummies for many little successes but not for screaming….
Hope everyone had a good weekend- mine was way too busy!
I was reminded today of the great gift of GRACE….
Romans 5:20-21 (MSG)….GRACE wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that’s the end of it. GRACE, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life- a life that goes on and on and on, world without end.
As a momma with all her kids birthed, out of diapers and pooing on the potty regularly ( they are now age 26-15 :-)…I want to tell you that it gets easier, better and richer- the days when your kids are little are HARD and you will not always feel this tired and ready to get out of “this “ stage. I don’t care what anyone says, it is really hard to treasure many moments of baby, toddler and pre school because you are doing a whole lot of surviving. Cling to your God of GRACE, He is putting you together.
Lord, please put (every one of the kids, families and teachers in Room 212) together through Jesus that we may have life that goes on and on and on. Let us all grasp how immense your GRACE is for us-how much we have to look forward to if we place ourselves and our families under Your Authority.
In Jesus Name, Amen
