KEY FOBS AND BUILDING ACCESS
Students MUST have their Key Fob with them at all times!
At the beginning of the day students can enter through the Main Entrance doors or the Student Center doors. For the remainder of the day all students must access the building through the Main Entrance Doors to ensure the safest environment possible.

The Monarch Booster Club will be hosting their Annual MoHi Boosters Bash on Saturday, March 18! This fundraiser will benefit the general fund of MoHI Boosters, which supports all clubs and activities at Monarch. This year's theme is Denim and Diamonds! Please be sure to SAVE THE DATE!
23-24 BOULDER TEC APPLICATION IS LIVE
10th and 11th Grade Students and Families-The Boulder TEC 2023-2024 application window is now OPEN. You can access the application here or on the Boulder TEC website.
The priority application deadline is Tuesday, February 21st but applications will be accepted through July 31st. If you have any questions, please contact us at bouldertec@bvsd.org.

REGISTER FOR SAT WITH ESSAY FOR FREE (JUNIORS ONLY)
11th-grade public school students in Colorado can add the SAT® with Essay to their SAT School Day registration for free. The Colorado Department of Education will cover all fees so you can take the SAT with Essay during the school day on April 12, 2023. Please see the flyer for more details. You must register between January 17 and February 16, 2023.
*Please note that all 11th grade students are automatically registered for the April SAT but the essay portion is optional and interested students need to register for the essay before the deadline.
Every year, the Women's Law Caucus at Colorado Law invites high school and undergraduate students across Colorado to Boulder to learn about law school, discover legal career opportunities, and envision themselves pursuing this advanced degree. The goal of Women in Law Day is to encourage young women of all backgrounds to consider a career in law. The program includes a keynote speaker, panel sessions with local practicing women attorneys, a mock first-year class, chances to speak with current law students, and, most importantly, an opportunity to meet local attorneys during a networking lunch.

The Marshall Fire that occurred on December 30, 2021, has been deeply impactful to our residents and the community. The outpouring of support from many avenues over the past year for those affected and experiencing hardship is incredible and inspirational. The Louisville Fire Protection District’s Volunteer program is pleased to offer two educational scholarships of up to $1500 to Louisville residents and their dependents who have experienced an impact on their primary residence. For consideration, please complete the LFPD Marshall Fire Scholarship Application and submit it by February 17, 2023. Winners will be notified by February 28, 2023.
Pre-Sale Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on RevTrak until 4:00pm on 2/10/23. On the day of the dance, tickets will be $30 and can be purchased on RevTrak beginning at midnight on 2/11/23 or at the door. ALL GUESTS MUST BE PREREGISTERED.

Students can take any FRCC class for free.
BVSD has a program called ASCENT through which students can get a whole year of college for free.
BVSD has a program called TREP through which students who want to be teachers can get two years of college for free.
There is a track students can take (for free) through FRCC to get prerequisites out of the way for an engineering degree specifically at Mines and a different track for engineering at CU and CSU.

JUNIOR JOURNEY NIGHT (11TH GRADE FAMILIES)
The Monarch counseling team will be presenting Junior Journey Night in the Monarch auditorium on Monday, January 30th from 6-7PM. Parents and students are encouraged to join us as we prepare juniors for their final year in high school. We will review what colleges look for and the steps to take to be prepared for successfully completing the college application process. We hope you can join us!

SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION
**LOOK FOR AN EMAIL MONDAY MORNING WITH THE REGISTRATION LINK**
Registration will open Jan. 30 2023 for spring sports. Every athlete MUST have a current physical AND be paid at the time of first practice (2/20 for swim and 2/27 for all other sports). Athletes will not be allowed to participate in practice if those 2 things are not met.
ATHLETIC PUNCH PASSES
Punch Passes are good for 20 punches to any BVSD HOME event and can be used by family and friends. Click here to purchase the Activity Punch Pass. To obtain your Punch Pass you can present a screenshot of your receipt to the Main Office or at any Monarch Home Game.
