Message From Mr. McCracken

Dear LTMS Families,

This week we kicked off our ONLY school fundraiser for the school year! Please check out the information below and help support our school!

Go Panthers.

Mr. McCracken

The Panther Prowl Fundraiser

LTMS students will be collecting money until May 12th to support our all-school fundraiser, the Panther Prowl. There will be a competitive race with medals/awards for interested students and a fun run/walk for those who are not interested in competing. The goal is for each student to collect a minimum of $40 in sponsorships. Incentives are outlined at the bottom of this form. Venmo @LTMSPanthers (include participant's name when paying)

Packets / Pledge Sheets were sent home with students this week, but we have extras if you need a copy! Please contact us!

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classroom that collects the most in sponsorships will have a pizza party. Additionally, the following incentives are available to students who collect a minimum of $20.

$100 or more: shirt, games before/after Prowl, three “oops”/homework passes, movie in auditorium (no make-up work), and ice cream/Kona ice party

$40: shirt, games before/after Prowl, one “oops”/homework pass

$20: shirt and participation in the Prowl only

Our goal is to raise $15,000 ($40 per student) to help our school.

The money will be used to help fund before and after school programs, upgrade our current signage, upgrade athletic and activity resources, and to purchase classroom supplies.

Panther Prowl Business Sponsors

So far, we have three businesses helping sponsor students:

Siller's Foundation Repair

Plumbing Essentials

Krudwig Structural Engineers, Inc.

We only have four days left before our shirt orders are due, so if you are interested in helping, please contact us ASAP so we can put your business name on the back of our shirts!

LTMS Highlights

Our 6th graders spent some time in the library this week to learn some important self-care strategies. Students practiced journaling, positive thinking, meditation, stress relief, yoga, mindfulness, and many more strategies! There was something for everyone to put in their repertoire of stress and anxiety management tool box.

ABCs of the Civil War

8th graders demonstrated their knowledge of the Civil War by creating high quality booklets (The ABCs of the Civil War) depicting the many people, places, events, and vocabulary they learned about.

Students have been playing variations of tennis and paddle sports in P.E. Check out "Literal" table tennis...
