Students are always encouraged to find resources themselves. On the St. Peter Library Home Page students can take a few short cuts along the way. Check out the links provided to make some of your researching tasks a little easier. Students can download the Destiny App (library catalogue) onto their phones. White Pine
The White Pineā¢ Award reading program offers teens the opportunity to read the best of Canada's recent young titles. This year, both a Fiction and Non-Fiction list is offered, so readers can choose from two lists.
This program promotes reading for enjoyment and familiarizes teenagers with great Canadian books. Check out the link for more details regarding book titles!

Library Club
Students have the opportunity to sign up and help out at the library - they can work towards their community service hours or their school points. Some students have taken the opportunity and written reviews regarding some of the literature in our collection.
Peterborough Public Library
If students can't find what they are looking for in their own school library, they are encouraged to use the resources that are close at hand. Anyone over the age of 14 (and a resident of Peterborough), can access all the great resources at the Peterborough Public Library. If students live outside the city limits they still have an opportunity to get a library card. Please see Ms. K. Scott-Mackenzie or Mrs. C. Steele for details.
