Daily Agendas

My Grading Policies
Major Grade assignments: Major grade assignments must have a minimum of 15 questions. Each multiple choice question must have proof of where/how the student found the answer. If an answer is not proven 2 points are deducted. If a question has a written answer, it must be in a complete sentence. If it it not, 2 points will be deducted per question.
Daily Grade Assignments: Daily grades are given based on what it turned in. These assignments are done as a partner or group, meaning the students have worked collaboratively.
Reteach/Retest Policies
- Students will be retaught concepts they do not master. Reteaching may take place in whole group, small group, or during individual instruction.
Students will be allowed one opportunity to retest on major grades only. Rubrics, projects and final nine weeks/semester assessments will be exempt from reteach/retest procedures.
Reteach/retest will need to be done of the original test being given.
Retest can be an alternative assessment on the same content or the same activity.
Students who earn a grade below a 70% will be required to participate in a reteach session and then retest for that assignment.
Students will receive an average of the two grades. If a student receives a lower grade on the retest, then the original grade will stand in the gradebook.
