Chris Prince (CHS Teacher)
Champion Teacher Chris Prince was honored for his life-saving actions on April 28th.
In one of Mr. Prince’s classes, a student started choking on a piece of candy. Without hesitation, Mr. Prince rushed over to the student and performed the Heimlich maneuver, which saved the student’s life.
The actions of Mr. Prince are the epitome of what Boerne ISD is all about, teachers caring for their students.
We are proud to recognize Mr. Prince for his swift and life-saving reaction on that fateful day.
Thank you, Mr. Prince! You are a hero!

The Boerne ISD Fine Arts Department has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
To qualify for the Best Communities designation, BISD answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program and community music-making programs.
