Attn Juniors: PSAT (practice SAT exam)

Hello Juniors - the PSAT is offered at Thomas HS on Saturday, October 13th from

7:30am-11:30am. Registration begins on September 12th and runs through October 9th. Registration forms will be available in the Counseling Center or at the link below. You may sign up at open house. The cost is $16.00 by check made out to WTHS PSAT.

College Representatives coming to Thomas HS

There are a many colleges visiting Thomas this fall. Please sign up to visit with various college representatives through your naviance account. For example, The University of Buffalo is visiting on September 19th. If you are unable to log into your account, please come to the Counseling Center and we can reset it for you.

Senior Parent Night - Monday, September 24th @ 7pm in the Thomas HS Auditorium

Have questions about the college application process? We have the answers! The Counseling team is visiting senior English classes starting the week of September 10th to walk students through the college application process. We would like to walk you through that same process so you are able have the same information as your child. Please join us for this informational evening on how to assist your college process.

Junior Parent Night - Wednesday, September 26th @ 7pm in the Thomas HS Auditorium

Should my child take the PSAT? When should my child take the SAT/ACT? How does my child sign up for a in-house college visit? Please join our Counseling team as we answer these questions and more. Junior year is a very important year in your child's high school career. This evening is focused on helping you understand the junior year so you may help guide your child. Please join us for this information evening.

Freshmen & Sophomore Parent Night - Wednesday, September 26th @ 7pm in the Thomas Library

Join the Counseling Team in the Thomas Library for information on how to navigate the high school process. We will focus on the college, career & community readiness.

Financial Aid Night Hosted at Schroeder HS on Thursday, October 11th @ 6:00pm

Our guest speaker, Nancy VanZetta, has 39 years of experience in the Financial Aid field. She will discuss the entire financial aid process including a review of the online forms, financial aid terminology, and the timeline for applying for FASFA. At the end of her presentation she will take questions.

American Red Cross Youth Leadership Program

Would you like some community service hours? The Red Cross is offering students an opportunity to create change in your community. You may pick up an application in the Counseling Center or apply at the link below.
