How does it work?
The telegraph was created by a man named Samuel Morse. This invention send short and long pulses to the receiver who will then translate the message. The code used for he telegraph was morse code which was helped made by Samuel Morse.
Benefits that came as a result of the creation of this invention
The telegraph helped the United states by creating a better form of communication within the nation, bringing families closer together. Also by being able to send important information faster rather than waiting months to have it personally delivered.
