Native Cinema Showcase (Nov. 8-25 Online and FREE)
The Native Cinema Showcase is a weeklong celebration of the best in Indigenous film. This year’s online program includes a total of 35 films representing 30 Native nations in eight different countries. Genres include documentaries, music videos, kid-friendly shorts, films in Indigenous languages and more.

Moonlight Magic Booksale
The Arms is having its Moonlight Magic Booksale on the Friday after Thanksgiving. 4-9 p.m. We will be on the main floor in the rotunda and reading room. We are stretching out into the main floor level, and will have more books than last year.We are especially looking for children's and young adult books in very good shape; ones you would gift, or would like to be gifted.
Jewelry-Making Class Two-in-one Make Felted Ornaments - Cookie Cutter Style!
Laura Porter will show us how to make beaded bracelets and necklaces. She will bring materials, from years of professional jewelry-making that she will be bringing for use in the class. The clasps used will be made of non-precious metals.
We will have a separate section and techniques for children,creating easy, bright jewelry, taught separately by Laurie.
Find us in the upstairs meeting room. Tables will be distanced from each other. Masks are requested during this class.
Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. in the upstairs reading room at the Arms Library in Shelburne Falls, MA.
Again, this is suitable and fun, for families and all ages.
We last did this a few Februaries ago, and made sweet, heart ornaments.

Please help us create the People's History of Colrain Podcast!
GML, with help from the Piti Theatre Company and Ohketeau Cultural Center, seeks participants ages 14 and older to help research, write, and produce a local history podcast! Uncover forgotten stories, learn new tech skills, and connect with others in our community.This project kicks off in the New Year and will continue through September of 2023, thanks to a generous grant from the MBLC.
