NEWLY RELEASED STANDARDS LINKS!

Five standard areas were revised and created by committees through OPI, have gone through the Negotiated Rulemaking process, and have been approved by the Board of Public Ed for adoption as rule in the ARM as of July 1, 2021. Districts should create a five-year review plan by July 1, 2021, including a plan for reviewing standards, aligning/adopting necessary materials, and providing professional development for teachers. All five areas must be fully implemented by July 1, 2026.

Below is a link to the OPI Standards page as well as the standards in Spreadsheet form that have been uploaded to Google Drive. Over the next 6 months, watch for Model Curriculum Guides (much more user friendly and comprehensive) to be created by the OPI and representative committee members from around the state for each of these areas. If you have any questions or need assistance with your planning, please reach out to me.
